The Dominican Rosary

How to Say the Dominican Rosary

† In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

V. Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

R. Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus

V. O Lord, open my  lips.

R. And my tongue will proclaim your praise.

V. O God come to my assistance.

R. O Lord, make haste to help me.

V. Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.

R. As it was in the beginning, is now, and will be forever. Amen. Alleluia.

(During Lent, substitute “Alleluia,” with “Praise be to you, O Lord, King of eternal glory” )

Concluding Prayers

Hail, Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy! Hail our life, our sweetness, and our hope! To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve; to thee do we send up our sights, mourning and weeping in this valley of tears. Turn, then, most gracious Advocate, thine eyes of mercy toward us; and after this our exile show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus; O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary.

V. Queen of the Most Holy Rosary, pray for us.

R. That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.

Let us pray: O God, whose
only begotten Son, by his life, death, and resurrection, has purchased for us
the rewards of eternal life, grant, we beseech thee, that meditating upon these
mysteries of the most holy rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary, we may both
imitate what they contain, and obtain when they promise; through the same
Christ, our Lord. Amen.

V. May the divine assistance remain always with us.

R. May the souls of the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace

Amen
